The Fort has still a lot more to offer. There's just so many construction sites in the area. I would have shot a lot more pictures if not becuase of the stupid securty guards. Haay. Maybe next time when I do it legally.

The Fort Sillhouette
I woke up at around 5am to bring my father to the airport . One the way back I decided to take the route through The Fort. When I saw a good scene I stopped my car and started shooting. Then a security guard approached me and asked if I have a permit to shoot Turns out that I have to ask permission from their arts department before I can take photographs within The Fort's vicininity. So I stopped shooting and went back to my car and started driving. Just when I drove around 100 meters another security guard riding a motorcycle was waving at me to pull over which I did. He asked to to erase every photo that I took. Well, the genius in me took the driver's seat. I showed him my camera, pressed the erase botton which prompts the delete dialogue box. After ensuring that he saw the delete dialogue box I hastingly pressed the cancel botton and immediately transfered to the next photo. I repeated the sequence until I got to the pictures I took in Tagaytay. Thank God I didn't start shooting in an emptry SD card.

The Olympics
Sometimes, I drive around with my camera beside me ready to shoot. I usually look outside to find something interesting. After taking a couple of shots and just about to place my camera on the front passenger seat, I noticed the chaos of stuff sitting beside me and how it translates to an interesting array of different colors. I placed the water jug at the side just to close the frame. By the way, it's 2008 and I can almost smell the spirit of the Olympics.
Playing kid
As I was walking around UP Diliman, I saw this kid playing just with himself. So I quickly switched to my 70-300 zoom lens and mounted my camera on a tripod and started shooting. Since I was far enough for him not to notice me, I made some pretty candid shots. I have a dozen more shots of him but I particularly chose this picture for the reason that we won't see his face. I just want to be on the safe side.
Nikon is the best
After watching an episode of Tips from the Top Floor where Chris (the host) talked about product photography, I did a little something for myself. In the video he used an improvised set to photograph three vodka bottles. In my version I used a black cartolina as background and white paper as reflectors. For the light source, I used the ever reliable desktop lamp. Oh, this is a photograph of the lens cap of my Nikkor AF 70-300mm G lens.
Flagged Down
It's a gloomy day and there aren't any flags on the tip of these flag poles to add some life. But hey it's still worth a shot. I like it.
What's the commotion?
What's the odd man out got to do? Take Pictures of course. My brother had to go to UP to shoot a school project and since it's a holiday I decided to come along and shoot. This is just one of the few shots that I took in UP that day.
